Tarragona’s Holy Week is declared a Local Festival of Tourist Interest by the Generalitat de Catalunya. To showcase its heritage, the Agrupació d’Associacions de Setmana Santa promotes an exhibition that begins at the Biblical Museum of Tarragona. This museum offers a biblical and theological contextualization of the Passion of Christ, along with a global vision of Tarragona’s Holy Week in its cultural and anthropological dimensions.

The “Holy Week Spaces of Tarragona” consist of six different locations, creating a distributed exhibition of the rich sculptural, human, and social heritage that makes up this deeply rooted local tradition.
